• IPR Chair:
  • Candidates must have served as, or meet the eligibility criteria for, a Professor or an Associate Professor as prescribed by the UGC, possessing substantial teaching and research experience in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
  • Alternatively, applicants can be an IP attorney with a minimum of ten years of IPR law practice, or another professional with significant recognition and at least ten years of experience in the IPR field.
  • Retired officials from the IP Office under CGPDTM, holding a doctorate degree and with a minimum of five years of experience at Level 12 or higher (e.g., Controller of Patent & Design, Registrar of Trademark & Geographical Indications, or Registrar of Copyrights), are also eligible.

  Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required for retired officials, while IP attorneys/professionals need at least 10 years. Professors/Associate Professors must demonstrate sufficient teaching and research experience.
